Compact laminate is the industries newest worktop addition. They have a solid coloured core with endless creative patterns on the surface, from a textured natural look to a smooth veined finish or both combined! these excellent characteristics will certainly impress. The extreme durability and resistance to moisture make it the ideal value for money material for kitchen worktops. Although worktops are value for money the installation price can be slightly higher than average, this is due to the product being extremely tough and will ruin most cutting blades in one job.

Verdict?
We highly recommend compact laminate worktops, although not as hard as quartz & granite they are cheaper per square meter and have deferent textures that cant be replicated by stone worktops. If you have a busy family kitchen these worktops hold up very well against your everyday rough and tumble. Stain and scratch resistant is always a big positive, you can also achieve undermounted sinks with drainer grooves that match higher end surfaces at a fraction of the cost.
